What is FTP?

FTP stand for file transfer protocol.  It allows user to send or receive computer files from a remote computer.  Security is handled by requiring the user to specify a user name and password for the other computer.

How do I use FTP?

FTP can be run from an MS-DOS prompt by clicking on Start->Run and entering ftp.   This is the traditional FTP prompt.  There are FTP programs out there that make using FTP a lot easier, if you are not too familiar with FTP.  Some examples are WS FTP, and CuteFTP.

Do you provide anonymous access?

Yes, we do! In our anonymous FTP directory you will find all of the latest software that we recommend for use on the internet.  To login to our ftp server, use the hostname ftp.iwlink.com and at the user prompt type anonymous, at the password prompt type your email address.

All of the files that are available for download are in the UPLOAD directory.  Additionally, you will find downloadable instructions sets in the support directory.
