What it all boils to is that we give you a lot of storage space on our computers hard drive, for FREE, to create your own personal website. Any member creating a personal site would be hard pressed to use all of the space we provide. Can I buy more storage for my personal site?Yes! If you ever find yourself running out of space the first thing you should do is clean house. Start by getting rid of any files in your ftp directory that are no longer being used. If you still need additional space, we will provide it to you for $1 per megabyte per month. How can I get my web pages created?IWLink offers a personal page design for a one time charge of $50. You are allowed to have one picture, 250 words of text, up to 10 links to other sites, and one email link with animated graphics. How do I get in creating my own web pages?We have created an extensive tutorial designed for the beginning web programmer. In it you'll find all you need to know about creating your own HTML pages, and in no time, you'll generating great-looking websites on your own. How do I use CGI scripts?CGI scripts allow for the creation of pages on the fly, databases and tables to be looked up, and e-mail to be sent. With the member sites, you do not have the option of creating your own scripts. We have a script library that you can link to for email forms and counters. If you require the use of your own cgi script, then you should consider upgrading your package. With the Webhosting, you receive your own personal CGI-Bin with full permission for most cgi scripts. Can I use Microsoft's FrontPage on my member site?NO! we do not support front page extensions on member web sites. You can use the program to create your site however not features will work when you publish your site. With the thousands of web sites that we host, if we offered these services, it would have a negative affect on performance. We do offer FrontPage support for other packages.
