How many newsgroups do you provide?

This is a trick question for many ISPs.  We will not be one of those companies that promise 50,000 newsgroups  Why?  The good majority of those groups are a waste of time, bandwidth and server resources. 

We carry approximately 28,000 newsgroups and we determine the groups by popularity.  For example,  the alt.* hierarchy is very popular so we carry every group in this category.  This is the current lost of nntp hierarchies that we provide.

If you cannot find the newsgroup that you are looking for, then please send an email to request@iwlink.com and specify which group you would like added to our server.

I am having trouble with newsgroups.

If you are having trouble reading news, make sure that you have selected that option in your package.  Remember, we charge you for what you want out of the internet so we do not offer newsgroups by default.  Our newsgroup access is only $1 additional per month.

If you are not subscribed for newsgroups access and you would like to be, visit the member services portion of our site and request a package change.

Do you have any support groups?

Yes! The support groups are a way for members to communicate and to help each other resolve common issues .Additionally, our expert staff frequents each group and answers as many questions as possible.  These groups are moderated and offensive posts will no be allowed.  Here is the current list of IWLink support groups.
