Instaling Microsoft Internet Mail 3.0 For the First Time

If it is the firt time you ever had an e-mail account; please follow carefully the instructions below.

1. You must first go to START,  then select PROGRAMS, and choose INTERNET MAIL

2. If the following window appears;  put your real name in the box next to name.   Example; John Smith.  Type your e-mail address inside the box which is next to the phrase Email Address.  Example;  john@iwlink.net   Then click on the Next button.

3. Under the Incoming mail (POP3) server box type;  mail.iwlink.com    Then under the Outgoing  Mail (SMTP)  type the same thing as before; mail.iwlink.com  After this step has been performed you can go ahead and click on the Next button.

4. On this next window make sure there is a dot next to the phrase; Logon using.  Now, next to the Account Name type in your user name and also type your password on the corresponding box.  Remember that you must type all the letters in lower case.  Then click on Next to continue.

5. On this next window make sure there is a dot next to;  I use a modem to access my e-mail.  Under; Use the following Dial-Up Networking

6. On this window just go ahead and press the Finish button located at the bottom of this window.
